Message: Had an amazing white glove experience with my recent purchase of a Traeger 575 pellet smoker and Weber Spirit 2 burner grill. I haven't shopped Ace much since the nearby Deptford location closed, but I was browsing for these items when I saw that they offered free assembly and delivery of both items. At checkout, I got another nice surprise that they would take away my old grill for free! Delivery was on-time and quick, and the assembly was flawless. Used the grill that evening for dinner and worked perfectly. So convenient, I will think of them for future purchases!

Message: Ace Hardware has a novel was of handling construction materials customers. They provide one on one shopping experiences. Almost like having your own personal expert shopper the moment you walk in the door. Why doesn't the 2 Mega hardware chains do this? I don't know. It's like Ace actually screens their hires and selects those who are knowledgeable and willing to help. Have you ever tried to find a department associate at the mega stores? Kind of like Where's Waldo. At what cost do you get such service you say? Well, best I can tell, Ace prices at the same as the mega stores. So, why shop at the mega stores? I don't know. After all, Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man.

Message: If you need it they pretty much have it. Needed a door knob that is probably 50 years replaced and is not like the standard ones now. One of the older employees went right to it. Thank goodness or we probably would have had to replace the door and it would have had to be special made. Great store and staff.

Message: This is a small hardware store. And there jingle holds true. They have always been helpful and friendly. I live near here and when ever I need a quick something I go here to pick it up. I’ve gotten everything from dirt to kids chairs to suction cups to a Yeti travel cup. They seem to have a little bit of everything. They have a seasonal section, even a pet section.
